Giving to Locate International helps us ensure every missing or unidentified person cold case receives the highest quality investigation.
In the UK alone, there are over 13,000 unsolved missing or unidentified people. This means thousands of families without answers, and in some cases, victims without justice. Research shows families will actively search for decades and we know that most police investigators would do everything they could – but there are limitations imposed by capacity and funding. We have brought communities together and created an entirely voluntary effort to help police and families.

Can provide one of our volunteer team with a month’s access to an online historic newspaper archive website, significantly enhancing our ability to research cases.

Can cover the cost of a birth, marriage or death certificate, offering crucial information that may unlock vital new leads in our research.
